BYD’s Battery-Box Premium comes in two types: HVS and HVM, offering flexible energy storage capacities from 5.1 kWh to 22.1 kWh. The modular design allows for easy scaling, ensuring the system meets various energy needs.
Battery-Box Premium HVM
The HVM consists of 3 to 8 modules connected in series, providing 8.3 to 22.1 kWh. Up to 3 identical units can be connected in parallel for a maximum capacity of 66.2 kWh. Key features include high-powered emergency backup, a high-voltage series connection for efficiency, and a modular plug design for ease of use. The cobalt-free Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery ensures maximum safety and longevity.
Battery-Box Premium HVS
The HVS consists of 2 to 5 modules connected in series, offering 5.1 to 12.8 kWh. Up to 3 identical units can be connected in parallel for a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh. This system is easily scalable by adding more modules or parallel stacks.
High Power, Maximum Output
The Battery-Box Premium can double its continuous power supply for up to three minutes, supporting high-energy demands from systems like air conditioners. This feature ensures a reliable energy supply during peak usage.
Adaptable Design
The modular system allows easy scaling to meet changing energy needs. Multiple units can be connected to operate as a single system, providing substantial energy storage flexibility.
Peak Safety
Designed with cobalt-free Lithium Iron Phosphate and a patented modular plug design, the Battery-Box Premium ensures excellent safety and high power levels throughout its lifespan.
Integration with Fronius Inverter
Combining the Battery-Box with a Fronius inverter like the GEN24 allows for:
- Use of PV energy at night
- Demand-oriented backup power
- Simultaneous supply of loads and battery charging during outages
- High self-consumption and self-sufficiency rates
Battery-Box Premium HVL US
The HVL model consists of 3 to 8 modules connected in series, offering 12 to 32 kWh. Adding additional modules easily scales the system.
