What You Need to Know

The WA Residential Battery Scheme will soon be launched, aiming to support the installation of up to 100,000 batteries across the state. This is a fantastic opportunity for households to embrace renewable energy solutions and contribute to a sustainable future!

Key Benefits of the Scheme

1. Attractive Rebates:
   • Synergy customers could receive a rebate of up to $5,000.
   • Horizon Power customers may be eligible for up to $7,500!
2. No-Interest Loans:
   • Households with an income below $210,000 will have access to no-interest loans of up to $10,000 to facilitate the transition to battery storage.
3. Sustainable Energy Solutions:
   • Participating in this scheme will not only help you save on energy costs but also support a cleaner, greener environment.

Eligibility Criteria

To take advantage of the WA Residential Battery Scheme, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:

• You must reside in a residential property in Western Australia and have an electricity account with either Synergy or Horizon Power.
• The property should not be owned by government entities or large corporations.
• Long-term rental properties are eligible with landlord approval.
